고급주택 가격은 상승(Toronto, Montreal luxury prices surge)
부동산중개업체 Royal LePaged에 의하면 지난 1년간 GTA고급콘도 가격은 10.2% 상승하여 평균 거래가격이 $2,268,571이었는데, 베이비붐 세대가 주택을 팔고 주거환경이 좋은 2천 스퀘어 이상의 고급콘도를 찾아서 복수오퍼 경쟁이 있기도 하였다.

Research reveals preference for single family homes(단독주택 선호 경향)
Despite rising housing costs, eight out of ten young, urban families in Canada’s key metropolitan areas would prefer to live in a detached single-family home if money was no object. This was one of the main highlights in a recent report released by Mustel Group and Sotheby’s International Realty Canada on home ownership trends among modern families.

GTA commercial sales remained strong in 2018
There was a slight dip in the value of commercial real estate sales in the Greater Toronto Area in 2018; but it was another strong performance following the previous year’s record high.
Data from Urbanation shows that the total value of CRE sales in the GTA in 2018 was $21.3 billion, down 3% from 2017; while the number of sales was down 14% to 1,395.
Residential lots saw the largest year-over-year increase, surging 157% or $490 million. The largest gain in dollar terms was for rental apartments which increased by $809 million (60% year-over-year).

TREB 2018년 회고 및 2019년 전망(Market Year in Review & Outlook Report)
토론토 부동산 협회(TREB)는 Market Year in Review & Outlook Report를 발표하였는데,
2018년은 2017년에 비해 거래량 16.1% 감소, 평균가격 4.3% 하락, 리스팅 12.7% 하락하였음.
현편, 2019년 전망은 2018년에 비해 거래량 7.2% 증가, 평균 가격은 4.2% 증가할 것으로 예상하고 있음.
