10월 주택매매 12.9% 증가 Canada's home sales up 12.9 per cent in October

캐나다 부동산 협회 (Canadian Real Estate Association)는 작년 같은 달에 비해 10 월 전국 주택 매매가 12.9 % 증가했다고 밝혔다. 지난달 매매 활동은 9 월과 거의 같았지만 2 월의 6 년 최저치에서 20 % 가까이 올랐다. 주택 판매는 여전히 2016 년과 2017 년 수준보다는 약 7 % 낮다.

CREA는 BC 주 밴쿠버 지역에서 판매가 증가하였는데, 프레이저 밸리 (Fraser Valley)와 오타와 (Ottawa)는 그레이터 토론토 (Greater Toronto) 지역과 해밀턴-벌링턴 (Hamilton-Burlington)의 월간 하락으로 상쇄되었다. 밴쿠버의 복합 지수 가격은 1 년 전보다 6.4 % 하락한 994,900 달러였으며, GTA에서는 지수 가격이 814,400 달러로 5.6 % 상승했습니다. 오타와는 10.25 % 상승한 $ 436,300으로 주요 도시에서 가장 높은 가격 상승을 기록했다.

전국적으로 복합 지수 가격은 B.C의 일부 하락에도 불구하고 1.77 % 상승한 $ 633,600이었다. 앨버타와 서스 캐처 원의 주요 도시에서도 신규 주택은 지난해에 비해 10 월에 5.8 %, 9 월에 비해 1.8 % 감소했다.

OTTAWA - The Canadian Real Estate Association says the number of home sales was up 12.9 per cent nationally in October compared with the same month last year. It says sales activity last month was almost the same as for September, but up almost 20 per cent from a six-year low reached in February. Home sales are still about seven per cent below the heights reached in 2016 and 2017. CREA says sales activity was mixed across the country as growing sales in Greater Vancouver, the B.C. Fraser Valley, and Ottawa, was offset by a monthly decline in the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton-Burlington.

Greater Vancouver’s composite index price was down 6.4 per cent from a year ago to $994,900, while in the GTA, the index price was up 5.6 per cent to $814,400. Ottawa recorded the highest price gains of major cities with a 10.25 per cent climb to $436,300.

Nationally, the composite index price was up 1.77 per cent to $633,600 despite declines in parts of B.C. as well as in major cities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The number of new residential home listings was down by 5.8 per cent in October compared with last year, and down 1.8 per cent from September.
